I have an opportunity to pick up the Revised 3.5 ed Monster Manual III, IV, and V locally. Do you think they are/will be as sought-after as the MM I and II and the other 3.5 core rulebooks? I'm wondering what you think they're worth.

Thanks Mark. I was thinking around half cover price or less might be a reasonable deal. I have a feeling that 3.5 purists (which may/may not include myself--still primarily committed to 1e/2e) will want them at some point to complete a collection, if I don't end up using/collecting them myself.

Please point me towards those $10 listings for MM III, IV and V.

Were thsoe for 3.5 ED MMs, Or were you talking about the 3.0 MMs?

I was going to say "Bah, you're crazy.  They're only worth about half cover price!".  But apparently, it's the cover prices that are crazy.  

3.0 books are basically worth next to nothing.

I think the later ones are only available in v3.5 not v3.0 (but someone correct me if I am wrong because I don't know D20 very well).

not too many MM4s to look over so it seems to sell a bit higher.



MM5 seems to be liquidating in the UK.  This seller:

has sold 10 copies for under $10.  In the US, they are between $15-$20.



Again, locally, keep an eye on your craigslist and kijiji ads and you can probably pick up large lots for under $10 a book.

Stay off of Kijiji  Not too many RPG listings but enough to keep me going back.  Although, I think I have peaked with my last purchase (alluded to in another thread).  6 boxes and a mailing tube (approx 250 pounds) currently on route from Saskatoon found through Kijiji - the listing has been removed now.

There was a recent lot in Waterloo for about 40 books for $200 so $5 a book:

Talking about 3.5 edn here.
The books I'm looking at all say that they're "Revised for [Version/Edition] 3.5".
BTW: Does anybody know which 3.5e hardback details the Lake of Steam region? (I know the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting for 3.5 does cover it, but I'm looking for more details.)
