Wondering if this type of printing error increases value. The end leaf and fly leaf are folded over and glued to the cover, and it appears to be an original printer mistake.

Scroll through the album, pictures 6 and 7 show the error. And this book is a 2nd print with the Cthulhu and Nehwon Mythos.

Generally, manufacturing issues/defects like this usually lower the grade of the book and are negative factors on the value.

There are some exceptions, but they are few and far between, and typically involve a significant error or misprint.

One such exception is the Dungeon Masters Guide, Second Alpha printing, which you can read about here:

Well that is a bummer.

I do have a DMG 2nd print Beta, its also got a slight uniqueness to it. The binding stitching forms a loop on the bottom of the book (could attached ribbons to it and use the ribbons as attached bookmarks, lol)  Honestly I'm surprised that someone didn't just cut it off.

That's a nice printing to have since it's the resulting product from the 2nd Alpha recall.  It's rather humorous that it has a stitching issue, too, but it's not surprising because the quality of the reworked books was not great.
