I believe I got this for joining the RPGA back sometime between '82 and '84 in order to get Polyhedron magazine.

If memory serves this came along with the kit you got for joining up. I would have given this to my Dad, who was a tie-wearing professor, only to find it still in his effects when he passed some 40 years later.

I'm curious about production year, value, and any other salient details. I saw it suggested somewhere that only 1000 of these were produced, but I wouldn't believe that unless someone here could verify that!
