Picked up a copy of RUS last week, looked through it and was mightly disappointed. Does anyone remember what the last one of these sold for? I can't find anything online. Looks like the last one NK had was in 2006

I purchased a copy for 99 cents about a year ago... more or less.
It arrived here and I was not too surprised that it was water damaged throughout with inactive mold on many pages.
I sent it to the UK (heavily wrapped inside seran wrap) along with another item for an Acaeum Member.
He was planning to dismantle it and create a PDF of it.
He has not finished yet.
But I am sure he will eventually.
I am not in a hurry....

I read it before sending it and I was not that dissapointed (Well aside from the Mold....).
IIRC: it did seem to have a lot of information about various regions (and the people of the regions) with a lot of folklore that I had not seen before as well.
In that respect I found it quite interesting actually.
But it has been a long while, so my memory may be quite foggy there.

Yep, that makes a lot of sense.
You had a lot more background information to start from than I did.
In that regard it held my interest more as something new and interesting to read.
Which is a large part of why I love this hobby.

Also, as I recall the rules were pretty hard to use.
As a game not sure it would take off, and in fact it didn't.

Did you ever see the D&D-style Slavic Mythos write-up that was on the web in the late 90s? I forget the author's name, but he was a moderator for the usenet newsgroup rec.games.frp.dnd. A brief quote:
