Is there an index online for Avalon Hill's General magazine? I'm looking for any issues with stuff on the Wooden Ships & Iron Men game.

Another good resource that's beginning to gain some momentum is BoardgameGeek's effort to index all General articles and place them onto the appropriate individual game page.

And you're in luck: Wooden Ships has a great listing. Just scroll down a bit and you'll see it:
