My GoogleFu has failed. I got nothing. Even searched Acaeum and found just one tiny little mention:

Over on Facebook someone posted and tagged me in reference to the thread I mentioned this in way back when......earlier today, when I saw the original FB post, I googled the info for Chris, never remembering that I ever had this, and gave up when I found no info.

Now apparently I own it...but have no freaking clue where to start looking

Here's what I remember about this module.  Granted, it's been about 30 years, so my memory may be a bit fuzzy.

The Dungeon Guild was a group of gamers from southern Louisiana in the late 80s.  They ran a series of competition tournaments at various conventions in the south for a couple of years.  They were a great group, lots of fun, and did their best to bring fun adventures and competitions to the area when the RPGA was slowing down a bit.  I think I still have some of their competition modules in storage somewhere.

I believe In Search of Magefriend was one of their later adventures and the first, if not the only, high quality printing of their modules.  All their stuff was 1st Ed AD&D compatible.  I don't remember much for 2nd Edition AD&D from them.

If anyone has any specific questions, let me know and I'll see if I can jog my memory.

I have a few copies of this adventure in storage, I'm sure.  But, I won't be able to dig them out anytime soon.  Did you have any questions about this adventure in particular?

That jives with my theory that this was something not commercially published (lack of ISBN, bar code, etc.) that made it so difficult to find anything on the web about it. If it had been published and available commercially, there would have been an entry on ISBNsearch.org.
