Just picked up a few sci-fi rpg gaming booklets for a game called Laserburn.  Books are dated 1983.  Just curious if anyone could give me some color on these?

I've had these a few times.  As far as a resell item, generally about $5 or $10 a book.  Most people don't know what it is or aren't interested.  Its a bit more on the minis side than RPG side for rules from what I recall and I think it is still in print.

Laserburn is considered the predecessor to Warhammer 40K, written by Bryan Ansell, co-creator of 40K. A lot of the iconic elements of 40K got their start in its pages. Not very well-known, even within the Warhammer community. They were once plentiful and cheap which, combined with their obscurity, means there's virtually no collector's market for them at all. A shame, because they're a pretty cool part of Warhammer history.

I had a bunch of laserburn stuff a few times over the years. I tried playing it once...thought it was average really but its ok. Material is quite good tho.

Value wise i dont think i ever remember it going for much.

I sold them on eBay for 24$ each decent price I think.

The books are readily & cheaply available, but does anyone know how to distinguish the early printings/editions? The items below look like new product:
