There's a picture and some physical details of the first print C&S on Tome of Treasures.

First prints seem fairly rare, though I don't track them so don't know how often they come up.  I've got a copy which I probably picked up at Gen Con some year.  It's a softcover perfect bound book, about 130 pages.  Having never played it, however, I have no idea what differences there may be in the mechanics between this and the box set.

I've been meaning to email you and Scot, since we had such a blast on Gary Con killing gorgons with sarcophagi.  I'll bring my copy along whenever we get together.  

Oh, I have a question - did the 1978 Chivalry & Sorcery Sourcebook come with a card sheet of "runes". I have a copy with such and I assumed that it originally came with the book. But maybe it was added in?

a) rune sheet was included with the 1st ed. of swords & sorcerers
b) bracton i'm pretty sure i gave you a copy of c&s back when we were in Mass.

Checking further, my copy of Swords & Sorcerers (also 1978) does have the rune card.

Also, thanks Bracton for the details and link too!  It'd be great to see the copy sometime.  Just drop me / Scot a line whenever -- I'm sure you're digging out at work from taking time off for GC.

I think 3. I have a 1st print with no title on spine, and 2 "2nd print" with title on spine. However, the two 2nd prints do not have the same size. One is clearly smaller and the paper is not exactly the same. So 3 prints I guess.

Is it possible to get a scan of it? My 1st ed S&S does not include any rune sheet
