After I pictured the complete AMJ modules serie, I noticed that some could be interested in French non-TSR items from the 80's. I make this post to show what exists if someone is interesting in getting some of them :) (I do NOT sell mine ;))

I still not have all AMJ fanzines, "Meluzine". They are as rare as the AMJ modules. The only ones I have were obtained from H. Tournier when you got yours from him and you sent me his email.

French small press publishers have done a lot of AD&D related modules in the late 80's. Some of them are of high quality (NEF or Le Dernier Cercle modules for example). WhenI can locate the authors, I ask them to let me offer pdf of these modules. Some modules can be currently downloaded on my website

two NEF modules, the Epopée FM and the Polyèdre one, for those who are interested in and can read French.
The 2 NEF modules are very good modules, especially for the context. L'Ile de Rope (Rope Island) is a very interesting background. ASAP I will try to create pdf of some others for which right owners allowed me to make pdf (2 other NEF modules and I will try to decide the author of Trégor as well). Trégor is a great background, with impressive maps (done by a specialist).

I have some other complete sets of French modules/aids from this era. NEF, Dernier Cercle, Nergal, La Compagnie des jeux de rôle, Descartes, Dragon Radieux, Polyèdre, etc.). I have done some pics for purpose. These are my favorite items in my collection. Nowadays, I guess that most of them exists only in less than 10 copies (I have the only known copy of Thierry Lacoste modules for example)
They are all from 80's (1984 to 1988)

Here what I have:

- Trégor (complete serie) 1986-1988: a fantasy background. The complete serie consists in one book with a lot of details about the history of Trégor world, one book (Atlas) which describes the geography, one book with booklet for adventures in Trégor, and a map (two prints) in bigggg format.





- La compagnie des jeux de rôle (complete serie): 1988
They made 3 pannel screens, generic, allowing to include the tables you need for your own RPG campaigns





- Nergal (complete serie): 1989
They made 2 supplements. One describes a medieval market place. The other one is a supplement for Oriental RPG and for Oriental Adventures (AD&D)




- Thierry Lacoste (missing one module): 1984

- Epopée FM (complete) 1984, Editions du Dragon Ludique (missing one module) 1984-85, Polyedre (complete) 1986
Cromlech and sepulture is a basic adventure (rather designed for AD&D) as well as Le Tremblement de Terre. Polyèdre is a supplement for SF RPG





- Le Dernier Cercle (complete serie): 1985-1986
All are modules designed for all FRP but especially AD&D. Ian lists it on afterglow2. Most are very good modules.





- NEF Nouvelle Edition Fantastique (complete serie): 1983 to 1985
Excellent modules for FRP. The first one (La Guilde du A) was a tournament module for D&D and presents the Isle of Rope. A must have for all French module collector.





- AMJ (complete serie): 1986
Generic modules that were designed for AD&D even if they provide only generic stats.





- Descartes (complete serie): 1986-1988
Three pads of AD&D character sheets. Two are in French AND in English (bilingual). The orange one was designed by François Marcella-Froideval who created Casus Belli (1st French RPG mag) and worked for TSR. He was a friend of EGG.

i find some covers particularly inspiring, first one i would choose is "La Relique perdue"

Very interesting, Italy too had its phase of 'generic fantasy modules' with many titles produced (in some cases 'published' is too strong a word :P). Some of them explicitely stated 'this is a D&D module' and I had a stab in producing one too with some friends! Ah, memories of youth!  8)

Some of them are really good. The NEF modules, and Le Dernier Cercle module. The less interesting are Cromlech and Sepulture and Polyèdre. Le Tremblement de Terre is a D&D module-like and is very easy to find (for who are interested in).
The hardest to find are Thierry Lacoste and AMJ modules. Some NEF are rather hard to find (even if La Dame en Noir, the first colored cover module from this publisher, is quite easy to get). Anne Vétillard is a great author.
La Nouvelle Edition Fantastique (NEF) stopped the module publishing activity and start to publish one (if not THE) of the most interesting French RPG, Rêve de Dragon (the 2nd ed has been translated in english as Rêve : the Dream Ouroboros).

Sorry, no info on this module (I guess that you asked me on Donjon du Dragon ;) )

Some are "easy" to get, others are incredibly rare (like the Tombeau of Hyrphas, those are the sole copies I know to exist).

I'd translate Le Dernier Cercle modules, but as always, IP becomes an issue.
