The Haunted Lighthouse is quite rare, so it might be worth Noble Knight's premium price to pick up?

It was originally Metagaming's house magazine, although it ran reviews of and material for other companies' games as well. Steve Jackson bought it starting with #27 - this is a bit before Steve Jackson Games was started, or possibly it was the first thing they published. It continued to be a fairly general science fiction and fantasy gaming magazine, and I think a good one, until SJG sold it to Diverse Talents Inc. - their issues are not as good and then they sold it to someone else who turned into a series of RPG one-shots or something. (For a little while SJG broke out the fantasy material into a separate Fantasy Gamer.)

It's a shame it's signed. I think I've only ever seen two copies that were not signed.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

I have an unsigned one that I bought back in 2004. In his listing it was signed. He never responded to my emails. I decided to keep it. 20 years later I won.

Goodman Games did a reprint about 7 years ago. I'm not saying that's what was in this auction, I'm just answering your question.

I assume that if a reprint of the 2nd issue exists, then also the dungeoneer #1 was reprinted... are then further issue reprints?

It was a Dungeoneer #2 in that auction AFAIK Goodman Games only reprinted the first issue.
