Without doubt less, and for most potential buyers a lot less.

To me this is one of those items that would be worth so very much more as a Mint Shrink Wrapped Module since copies that include the counters are so tough to find.



Here is a copy that has less than 15 minutes left and will likely sell for less than $10 (USD)

No counters... but otherwise in nice looking condition.

An ok copy for use, definitely not for collecting.

On the $49.95 listing that you were surprised hasn't sold, it's not really unpunched counters.  Read this text:
It was produced by TSR in 1985 and features 48 pages of adventure, a tri-fold cover, large color foldout map and an un-punched sheet of counters (counters are a quality color photocopy as the originals are long gone).

Anyhow - great information.  This gives me a good idea about pricing.  Appreciated.

That first one had a bin of $7 which some idiot wasted by doing the .99c min bid. (pisses me off as I missed snagging it myself for the bin).

RPG's follow the same pricing model as diamonds and other rare gemstones, namely the Four C's:

1) Completeness
2) Condition
3) Collectibility
4) Shrinkwrap
