Question on D&D Sets: Basic through Immortals

After much reading on Acaeum, I think I finally get the whole sequencing of the various sets.

I have a question on "boxed" vs. "shrinkwrap."

For the 5 sets (Set 1,2,3,4,5), which ones are only available in Boxed and which ones were also available in shrinkwrap as just the rulebooks?

I believe the Basic and Expert Rulebooks were available separately in shrinkwrap.

I'm not sure about Companion, Master or Immortals.

Companion, Master and Immortals and Wrath of the Immortals were only available in boxed sets.

I'm not sure the Expert Rulebook was ever available by itself.

I think that the Moldvay/Cook edition was available separately, but not the later ones.

Yeah, I'd likely trust Frank's answer.  ;)

The basic rules did come out in the UK in a single digest-sized book, though.  That is the only non-boxed way to get any of the Mentzer rules, I believe.  I'm still hunting for a good copy of that digest book.  Grrr.  ;)
