First, this is an excellent adventure. Other than a few alterations for personal preference this adventure is ready to run with a great sense of atmosphere about it.

In the first print I have comes across a number of minor word slips and typos that do not affect the playability of the module in any way.

When referencing sections of the module I refer to either specific and easily identifiable headings or use a system based on page, columns, paragraphs and sentences which I abbreviate to Pg.#, C.#, Pr.#, S.#

I also use "Should Be" frequently and have abbreviated this to "SB".

I'm guilty of my own typos, sentence miscounts and overlooked errors so please let me know what I have mistaken or missed.

Jason,
Thanks for that comprehensive list.

Many of those edits have already in gone into a revision that will eventually become the third printing as well as some other changes (additional encounters, etc) and a full conversion to AD&D/OSRIC.

Several of those edits were corrected in the second printing.

Just to clarify. RC1 did not see the same editing as RC2 and RC3 (which had editorial boards). So as I move forward with Pacesetter, the quality of finished material will improve...and I know it has already.

With TM1 I have a very large editorial board reviewing the Rough Draft, and they will also have the opportunity to review the final draft. Keep in mind these are all volunteers, with varying levels of expertise, but that is a strength, in my opinion. I get plenty of feedback coming from differing perspectives. This will only make Pacesetter products stronger as we move forward.

So while I cringe when looking at RC1 first print and the horde of grammatic errors, I still think the product is solid. I know that sounds like an oxymoron, but I think you get the idea. I will always look back at RC1 as a standard upon which to build on.

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

Makes the first printing even more valuable to the collector, no?

Actually the 2nd printing is identical to the first except for a lighter block of ink at the bottom of the contents page and the words 2nd printing. All notations I made for the first printing are true for the second.

There are also two products on the back cover (and the covers of RC2 and RC3 as well) with the code TM1. I'm not sure if this is an error or not.

Well, I read the latest post late last night and I was completely baffled. I know I made several (about 15-20) small, typo, grammar, and textual corrections to RC1 for the second print.
I never opened one up to check as I saw the cover looked correct, as well as the top page of the adventure section.
I just spoke with my printer and I have discovered the problem. As it turns out, they only swapped out the handful of pages on the original pdf that they saw changes. They are apologizing up and down. There are a few pages that have had corrections, but most were neglected. When I went in after the first print and did some of the editing, I made sure the layout did not budge a single line. By just looking at the individual pages, you are not going to be able to tell that changes were made, for the most part.
So there is the end to this mystery - which kept me up all night, by the way.
At this time, I am not going to create a third printing. I just do not have the time and when I do, there will be more than a few typo, grammar changes. The third print will feature an extra encounter or two, some additional backstory, etc.
There will also be a AD&D/OSRIC version of RC1 (but that is way down the road).
Ultimately, in the next few months (I am targeting May) the third pring will hit the shelves.
Thanks again for the notice; improving the way I do things will continue to be a focus.
