bbarsh wrote:An Open Letter to our Customers, In the summer of 2009 I finally pulled the trigger and created Pacesetter Games & Simulations (PGS) in order to publish old school gaming products. PG&S entered the old school publication market in the fall of 2009 and received tremendous support. RC1 The Thing in the Valley, an adventure for the Basic / Expert D&D game sold out in 36 hours. RC2 The Screaming Temple followed with similar results. In the short time since the release of RC1, I have also received a tremendous amount of positive feedback regarding PG&S products. It seems there is a market for new products based on old games. More than a simple consumer market, old school gamers are a community of fiercely loyal enthusiasts who carry the standard of old school gaming, but who also support companies such as PG&S. In recognition of those who purchase first print modules from PG&S, I am announcing the Customer Loyalty Program (CLP). Every customer that purchases each first print run module throughout the year, will receive a FREE special limited edition module in December of that year. I will only print enough modules to distribute to the members of the CLP. The module will be numbered. There will be no second prints or pdfs. The module will be shipped, for free, to each CLP member in December along with a letter of recognition. You do not need to sign up for the CLP as I will constantly update the list via PG&S's distribution system. Please note, first run modules are limited to 100 copies -- that will not change in 2010. However, since RC1 has already sold out prior to this announcement, everyone who purchases a second print RC1 will be added to the CLP. Again, thank you for support of PG&S and old school gaming in general.Respectfully,Bill BarshPacesetter Games & Simulationspacesettergames.combbarsh@pacesettergames.com
