I guess we do this most years but why not again this year :)

What rare collectable do I want for Christmas?

hmmm

How about Space Gamer Number 1, maybe a domesday book #1 (probably does not exist but hey it is a wish list).  Mint 2nd print woody.

What about you guys :?:  :D

Honestly?...

The Monster Manual I got for my birthday in 1981, when I was nine. It was taken away from me by a well-meaning but misguided Aunt and Uncle at the height of Anti-D&D hysteria in '84-after our family watched a piece of garbage called Mazes and Monsters. I assume it's somewhere in the Oshawa, Ontario area now.
Actually, any collectors from that area? If you have an old, dog-eared MM with a small dart hole in the back cover and the name "George" on the inside cover-Let me know!

If you believe that ADVANCED DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS is a game worth playing, you will certainly find it doubly so if you play well.

I'd love to get a nice copy of R4 to start my R1-4 collection.

Why not start with the hardest one to find first?

:)

Blasted Land
The Infernax
Harn Ivinia (for less than $100)
Woodgrain Tractics would be nice too.

Maybe a nice copy of Artists of TSR, since I underestimated value by $1500 when listed and $600 at the end.  Also, I am not sure I am willing to go as high as that blasted thing brought, even with better appreciation of its rarity, lol.  Perhaps I will get lucky and one or two will come along and drop the price in half, lol.

I'd like to get a copy of Ptolus. My own collection is much more end use and this is one item I can never seem to find a place in my budget for.

I feel like I saw that someplace not too long ago.  If I think of it, I'll get back to you.

There were two Ivinia auctions a couple of months ago.  One of them was complete and I bid on that one.  IIRC I was sniped at the end.  The other was for just the books and I didnt bother to bid on it.  Noble Knight has one and there is another one currenty in an Ebay store.  Both are over $100 and I dont see the point in paying that much when the one I lost out on was less than $50.
