Congrats on the art! It's fun to pick those interiors up

I had a bid on a Brom cover earlier today but then someone else went ahead of me and scooped it up for 2X as much as my (second highest) bid!!! Funny thing cause I had asked the seller about his reserve and he only said that he would sell it for $900 outright but I thought it would be a shady way to end the auction... moral of the story, you never know about what other people value these things at Something to keep in mind when buying them is to make sure that you're personally OK with the deal. Doesn't matter what other people tell you as long as you're happy!

Here's the framed piece.  I think I hit a homerun with the framing.

You're not joking.  I will find it very hard to frame interiors in the future.  This frame job cost me $375 and the art only cost me $100.  Some might think that I'm some kind of idiot, but the piece means that much to me.

Here is the Ralph Horsley.  I admit that I did a crappy job of framing this piece.  However, my framing did bring out the reds, yellows, golds, and silver in the piece.  So I'll live with it.

Nice colors on the matte and frame.  The metal plaque adds a touch of class.

For consistency, all of your art must now be matted and framed with that same style of metal plaque.

I have way too many interiors... It's more about not being able to purchase a home large enough to display them all I do frame the special pieces, here's a Tim Hildebrandt ink.

One piece of advice that I have for you: Ask your frame person about overstock... my framers (I have a few) all have this occur and then we will use a frame which they do not have to order (and it's extra/paid for already) and this is the cheap way to go. If your frame person is legit they will have some odds and ends availabale to choose from. Here are a few examples below which I paid less than $50 per:
