Ok, we now have 7 confirmed Special Guests as follows:

Jason Braun
Tim Kask
Dennis Sustare
Robert Kuntz
Steve Winter
Paul Jaquays
Jim Ward

Jim wants to run a game from 1400-1700 on both Friday and Saturday (this isn't a normal game time slot, but if he wants to run a game then, well who am I to tell him otherwise ... though 3 hours seems short to me)

Don't have game time commitments from anyone else yet, but that's actually bit early at the moment.

Anyway, I am purchasing all plane tickets for all Special Guests this week (since prices are going up).

Jim said that he wants to run sessions of Tainted Lands, his newest release, so should be interesting.

Great that Paul is coming back; he was a great guy and a real hit with the old schoolers.

Can't say that I am going to be there, but I wish you both every success again for this year and hope that it is a great event!

Please tell me Jim will do a session of MA or GW... PLEASE!

Either way I'm hoping he'll be happy to sign my copies.

I wanted to make it to the 2010 con but I started my new job in September and will not be eligible for vacation time until after I have worked a full year.  :(

Once you are logged into the site, you see an "Event List" tab.

This shows the events for the Con.

The first is registration for Con itself.

I currently do not have any Games on the list yet as I am working with the 3rd party programmer to get some specifics fixed/changed with the software for the game event registrations (actually I want to be sure people have registered for the Con first, before they can register for Game Events)

Anyway, that should all be ready by end of December. Then we will start posting the Game Events for sign up (after you sign up fr the Con itself).

We will also have sign ups for Vendors etc.

As far as a MA or GW game, Jim did say this:

"...If your workers are interested I can run that adventure over or an MA adventure for them after dinner one night. Just a thought..."

I told him we only have 2 workers, but thanks for the offer... so he might be up to an impromptu game during the Con as well...

Actually I would login to the Con site and post your wished so he can read them.... he hasn't signed up on the site yet, ,but I'll tell him he has questions to answer :)

All signed up for the Con.

I will get myself updated on the forum info and maybe post some of my thoughts tonight.

Cheers,
D

DFW airport....there should be a shuttle service that can pick people up and drive them in.  Well, at least there was when Doug and I booked the hotel. The last time we talked to them I think they had cancelled the shuttle service. Sheesh!  Doug what's the scoop on this?

The hotel is about 10 minutes away so it's not a long drive; however, unlike this year Doug and I would rather not have to shuttle back and forth to pick up people as we will have many more logistics to deal wit this year. We'll figure something out.

That sucks, Jason! :(

I would definitely sign up for a Jim-Ward-run MA game, too!

What about GW?

I wonder: Is Jim cool with playing the 1st editions of these games?

Oh, Al; I certainly hope you make it back...bwuuhahahha!

Good news for death freaks! Thanks to Gnat the Beggar, I will be able to bring my chariots if there is any interest in a Circvs Maximvs game...

Also will have a custom adventure; two groups of 6 to 11, playing time 4 to 5 hours; pre-gens provided; strictly OS.

IF there is any interest?  Yeh, I'd say so!

How long does your average chariot death race last, Tim?
