I've got a 12th printing of Greyhawk that I bought in the early 80s. It lived in a cardboard box for over 20 years with no protection (I was young and stupid...)
Here is what the damage looks like:
I think it's damage made by bugs chewing the paper, but I'm not sure. Does anyone have any input on that?
This damage goes along the top of the booklet, only on the front cover, about 3/4 of an inch from the top.
I'm trying to grade the overall condition of the book. The staples are rusty and have stained the center pages. Otherwise it is completely free of any writing, the spine is strong and there are no other signs of damage. So, how would you rate the condition? I'd say the top end of VGood, but maybe I'm nuts.
Thanks in advance for your input!
