First dropped by a couple of days ago because of the Fantasy Factory hex pad posting. The memories are certainly poignant.

Since I had to visit my storage locker last night, I took the opportunity to look at the lowest strata of accumulation and came across a couple of banker's boxes stuffed with a variety of old RPG stuff (late 70's, early 80's vintage).

If I were interested in selling the items, should I bother with fleaBay or is their an RPG-oriented sale site where buyers are better served?

Should I post a list of titles here?

Yes and yes.

RPGMarketplace is like eBay without the fees and is essentially "collector's only."

Titles are always good, and then images and conditions.

Those who can, don't. Those who should not, do.

Chris,

Instead of ebay, you can have Mars and I beating a path to your door (davidc will probably be parachuting in, no doubt) and have an auction on your lawn

We really do need a Canadian Corner on this site.

Joking aside, Serl's advice is spot on: a list of titles would be wonderful to see.

The main book is the "revised edition". Bought it off Kevin Siembieda (and sold the 1st ed) after talking to him at Origins. We discussed at some length the scope of the revisions and I felt it was worth stepping up...

I also note Book II: Old Ones in the boxes...

Well, I haven't played in years. Last systems were Top Secret:SI and AD&D 2.0 rules. Oh, and a little Champions and Boot Hill thrown in for good measure. I can recall a plethora of westerns produced by Hollywood in the late 80's that drew our attention. Pity the state of CGI was not up to X-Men/contemporary Spiderman quality at the time; I might have actually enticed someone to play SuperGame, Heroes Unlimited, or even TMNT. As it was, people looked askance when I mentioned super heroes in a game context.

As for BBQ; I'm a charcoal convert. Bring the meat and I'll char it appropriately.

I am both happy and sad to say that both the Thieves Guild and Chainmail items are gone. In a further, very weird by-product of this current odd turn of events, the fellow who was our rightfully-exalted DM in high school dropped by and bludgeoned me into relinquishing them. A more fitting home for them I cannot imagine. My apologies to those here who have expressed interest in those two items; it was not an anticipated outcome, however delightful.
