Good stuff, especially Erol.
I'm always entertained when I see how the game we know and love was *really* made, and what went on behind the scenes.
It's as if there are two entirely separate worlds - that of the designers, who know the pain behind each product's birth, and that of the players, who knew only the shiny packets of glory (modules, books, minis) that made it into the hobby stores.
Despite cons and meetups I think it's only in the last couple of years that these two worlds have truly begun to coincide and create a new and tangible unity, and it's kind of a beautiful thing.
Now I'm thinking about Gary. I think I'll set the court work aside and write a scenario tonight.
