Cool Beans.

Might well be worth a trip to the seaside...  pick up some games, fish & chips on the pier, dodge the seagulls, watch the sun go dpown on the seafront, then get pissed and fall over on the beach  :D

Let's go fly a kite
Up to the highest height!

Well I'd never heard of it or seen it....must be tucked away.  I'll take a walk down there this week and report back.  Its rare to get decent indy games shops.

Finally hauled my ass down to this new shop.  Its a big unit but well tucked away off the main street in a little arcade.  Unfortunately there isn't a lot of D&D/roleplaying stuff.  A few 4E WOTC books and even less from other publishers.  Mainly set up for Games Workshop and Warmachine.
Its set up over two levels with the sales bit by the door and the upper part looks like its set up for gaming with a few tables.  If wargames are your thing then in a few months this could be your place.  I say in a few months as it still has its 'just opened - new shop' feel.  No enough stock, no customers etc.
Hopefully it will survive the first months but as it stands at the moment I'm no too sure.  At the moment its not worth a trip specifically.  Nearest car park is the Churchill town centre.

cheers for the scouting.. might be heading to Brighton later in the year, so may have a look if its still going.

we've got a GW in town here, but it is so geared towards wargaming etc now, but although there are some nice minis, my time for painting and storing them is long gone!
