The easiest way to get an idea about pricing is to check out each title on ebay. If you see one go up for auction watch and see what it goes for. I you see a number of them offered up as buy it nows you can get an estimate of what it is selling for.

This is great advice because you may find lots of items listed at one price level, but the price level that counts is what the item is actually selling for.  If you can't find an item, tell us its title and there's a good chance this crew can help you.  Some items can get tricky as there are multiple editions.  Finally, the condition of an item can influence its value tremendously.  Staple rust, smells, tears, stains, highlighting, creases and anything else that keeps it from looking brand new can change the value.  Most people do not know how to accurately grade an item.  This site has a grading guideline which should prove most helpful.

If you have one or more items that you cannot find any previous data for, post a thread on this site under the Collecting Appraisal Boards.

Some of the folks here are VERY knowledgeable about rare and/or unusual items and although plenty of Data about TSR and Judges Guild Items can easily be found here or elsewhere, some small press publishers from the old days have little information floating around about them and what they produced back in the day.

Whatever you do, do not allow someone to ask or advise you to post a $35 BIN for them on an item that you dont know anything about.....  

Ask here first (Collecting Appraisal) you will get honest answers on the CA Board.
