Not a good time to sell that sorts thing, although needs must, eh? A lot of collectors are strapped for cash and rationing what they buy, especially at the upper end of the market. Good luck.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

Oh, I know....

It seems a bunch of people did not see the Otus string so I figured I might as well take a beating rather than have it missed.

I know that if I flip into the site and don't select a category it sometimes does not link as new the next time I check.

A tournament Tsojcanth merits mention here. Now if someone started a thread about posting an Isle of Dread in the classifieds.....that's another story. ;-)

Good luck with the sale. I'm afraid if I bought it you would have to make room for me to sleep on your couch, because my wife would throw me out. ;-)

Also, bbarsh is not a guy who just showed up here one time to hawk his Ebay listings.

It is a faux pas, but contributions to the community over time do merit some leeway.

Is there a formula? Do you get to, say, break the ethical rules once for every year you've been a member? Or once for every new printing discovery?
If not, we should come up with one. Perhaps we could elect an Ethics Board to determine the values of contributions.

  :D

How about one unethical act and two posting faux pas for every 1000 posts?   :D

Well.... then I am way over my limit.
Half my posts fall into one or both of those areas.

Thanks.

But it really was not a faux pas; I clearly indended to direct looks to the classified. I post stuff for my ebay auctions there all the time. But I know for a fact that I rarely review that thread even when I notice it has new posts. Maybe that is just me, but I think the classifieds get the least attention. The "views" seem to be much weaker than the other threads.
The vast majority of classifieds, on the acaeum, usually redirect to ebay and less frequently to in-house sales.

And this brings up a thought. Maybe we should have a sticky thread for in-house sales or classifieds. We have the thread regarding sales to other members on the General Thread, but no accompanied classified thread.
Just a thought.

I knew it was no feux pas and no accident.

So, does this mean if we (any of us) are planning to sell an item (Rare, or very valuable that is) we should be able to post that item anywhere we want to, instead of only on the classified pages?

I can never tell if you guys are serious*, but getting bent out of shape over something like this is kinda silly.  It's a Tsojconth, so it deserves mention in multiple places.  Who does so is irrelevant.

*Must be all the new usernames, I don't know who anybody is anymore.

Yah...confusing.

No, nothing I said here is serious.  :)

I would agree that a Tsojcanth sale rates its own thread.  8O

I think that sums it up really, its something special and therefore can have a mention elsewhere, as I wouldn't normally check out the classifieds as I'm never really looking for anything, but (if I had the cash and inclination) this may interest me so I'd never have known.

If nothing else (being someone who enjoys this site, reading the books but not collecting), it's got me looking into the rarities pages more and just reading up on stuff.
