Just curious if anyone else is receiving an error message from time to time when posting.  I should have saved the text, but basically after I hit submit, I receive a "debug" message after about a minute or so wait. :?

Think I got something similar a few months back.  Nothing recently.

[Edit:  I did, however, just triple-post.   Maybe today is not a good day for the system.]

I'll take a look and see what I find -- no promises, though.

I made some fixes under the hood this morning.  May not have fixed this problem, but certainly fixed some others.  Please report if you get that Posting error again!

Here's another posting error that cropped up.

The interesting thing is that after I hit the back button and clicked on the forum, the post actually made it through.

Critical Error!
message_die() was called multiple times.

Error #1
Could not obtain topic watch information

Line : 767
File : /home/acaeum/public_html/forum/includes/functions_post.php
SQL : SELECT topic_id FROM phpbb_topics_watch WHERE topic_id = 8436 AND user_id = 1536

Error #2
Could not obtain user/day information

Line : 278
File : /home/acaeum/public_html/forum/includes/page_header.php
SQL : SELECT user_id, user_session_time FROM phpbb_users WHERE user_id > 0

Please, contact the webmaster. Thank you.

That looks like a (temporary) error where the database wasn't available on the server.  Should happen only rarely.

Here's a new error I've been receiving when attempting to send a pm reply

Ran into problems sending Mail. Response: 435 Unable to authenticate at present

DEBUG MODE

Line : 133
File : smtp.php

EDIT: I double checked and the messages actually were put into the outbox, even though I received and couldn't get past the error message.

That looks like a temporary server issue -- it will last until that service reboots itself, usually about a minute.

Same as last March. Ran into this today while adding a post. It did go through, though, so it doesn't appear to be serious.
