There's a large lot of D+D first edition stuff up on ebay at the moment. The sale ends tonight. The lot includes a copy of Judges' Guild's "First Fantasy Campaign" from 1977. The seller is offering free shipping. Check it out: ebay item number

Whole lot looks pretty decrepid. Fungus damage or rot of some sort.
Suspect the buyer will have a nice surprise if he takes the photos on face value. Where one book has started to rot, others will also.

$60 is probably a fair price for the chance that something may be worth it, but any more would probably be foolish. That's a job lot for a newbie. They've gotta learn somehow, and squandering money on things that aren't worth the postage alone is where most of us started.

How many of us can honestly say they never bought stuff that was just crap? I've certainly made many bad buys on spec'.

Invisigoth, in future, the place for this type of post is either in the Judges Guild Interesting Items Currently on eBay thread, or the non-TSR Interesting Items Currently on eBay thread, both are right at the top of the respective pages. It's a rarely moderated board, so your two threads are unlikely to be deleted. They just clog the place up.

Any reason why this couldnt have been posted in the proper thread?  Perhaps the one that says "Interesting Items on Ebay"?  And is there a reason why you felt the need to post it twice?  :?

. is correct.  The FFC looks like crap and the rest doesnt look all that great either.

Mars and King are two people who I really wouldn't want mad at me, and you've already irritated them both.  Congratulations!

[Edit:  And Al as well!  Unlike most people, Al is a tougher nut to crack, but you've managed to do it on your first day!]

I PMed the seller through eBay asking for further information about some items. Their response left me with the distinct impression that they were ignorant and didn't give a f"ck about buyers. They also seemed to have a general contempt for people and either an unusual misunderstanding of life (giving them the benefit of the doubt) of an intelligence that could only be the result of a bad school and parents incapable of contributing to their childs intellectual growth.

Their presence here seems to indicate that the poster and the seller are one and the same, and my judgement of their motives and intelligence were pretty close to the mark.

This seller will not post in any of these threads, as they do not have the intellectual capacity to hold conversations (and more importantly understand the nuances in written english). But they will continue to flame the boards because it fits with the character trait of not giving a f"ck.

A moderator is called for.

It isn't obvious they are one and the same? I came to that conclusion within seconds.

I'm not so sure.  Invisicock doesnt type in broken English like cougarretard does.  And coug has repeatedly stated in emails to people that he doesnt have the time or inclination to post here....which I am eternally grateful for.  Hopefully once FoulFoot gets around to reading the slew of PM's I am sure he has received he will take appropriate action and let everyone know just who Invisicock is (if in fact he is a former Acaeum member that was previously banned for being an asshat) or at least where the posts originate from.

Frank meant the eBay seller and the poster, not the poster and Cougie.

And I agree with that guess.
