There used to be this big game store in Columbus, OH but I can't seem to find it online.
It was called "The Castle" or something like that.
I am in town for work and thought I would drop in...

Anyone got a clue?

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

used to live there, the soldiery had a decent selection, but the prices were random. if there was no price on the item they would just charge the msrp. not sure if they're still open. the guard tower is a great store, but when i used to go their prices on d&d items were actually pretty close to market prices. great place for a game of warhammer though. i used to hit 2 half-price books in the columbus area each weekend, got better results that way.

Well, I went the Guard Tower and picked up Axis and Allies: Europe. Kids had a great time roaming the store. They had never seen a gaming store and they were shocked by all the minis and stuff.

Of course, my oldest daugher had to label it as Geek-heaven

. Anyway, we had fun.

We pillaged some 1/2 price books stores in the evening. Again, kids had a great time looking for books to complete whatever series they are currently reading. I had much less luck :cry:

But I did snag a few 1e HCs at a reasonable price and a Book of Lairs DragonLance - which in all my years I have never had. Weird....

One of the HPB stores had 1e dmgs and FF going for $35 or $22 each!

I laughed all the way out the door.
