But none of them mentioned Gary Gygax.

He is remembered by the people who care. His name will live as long as Newman or Heston, quite likely longer. He was a creator not just a portrayer of parts and people. He helped to bring something wonderful to this world, something that opened up greater worlds that can only be imagined. If the powers that be and the great mass of people in the world havent found what he created and honor him for it, then I feel sorry for them.

Gygax is remembered and honored.

There is talk in Lucca about naming one of the tunnels below the city 'defensive' walls to Gary Gygax: a fitting tribute - a dungeon

This is just a segment of the Tribute Wall. At Lucca Games ending, the huge panel was completely covered by writings, memories, and thank yous in abundance.
