Hi everyone,
I thought now that we have passed the 1,000 article mark on the
Acaeum Wiki (after only 10 weeks!), it would be a nice time to highlight the efforts so far here in the main forum:
General
There are currently 1,030 item articles and 2,105 images!
There are currently 18 members with editor status of which 12 have contributed articles and scans.
Some of the more popular

Dungeon Crawl Classics and
Lejendary Adventure
D&D / AD&D / D&D3E
The Wiki is providing a very simple vehicle for increasing the detail and coverage of D&D items. There are now sections on
AD&D 2nd Edition and
3rd Edition, together providing information on more than 200 additional products.
Periodicals
We have a small, but growing list of
periodicals. The focus so far has been on updating the detail on
Dungeon and
Dragon magazines to strengthen the Acaeum coverage of these. However, there are some new magazine lines that are complete or almost complete, for example
Different Worlds and
Iron Crown Quarterly. Others are work in progress, for example
The Space Gamer and
Wyrms Footnotes. This will be a great resource for finding rare snippets by famous authors, highlighting hidden adventures secreted in these magazines and getting a feel for the history of the the
RPG movement.
Non-TSR
The number of non-TSR game lines is growing rapdily on the site. This includes such diverse game systems as:
Call of Cthulhu,
The Fantasy Trip and
RuneQuest. We're also slowly building the number of
universal supplements including such gems as
The Feathered Priests and
30-sided dice gaming tables.
Author bibliographies
Each author that has contributed to the
RPG field has a page on which their publications automatically accumulate. This will mean if there is a writer you particularly like, you can quickly find the products and magazines to which they have contributed. See, for example, the diverse range of publications for

Auction Tracker
Grubbiv's auction tracker has the potential to be a marvel, and feedback would be most welcome. Once a product line has been put into the Auction tracker database, it is simply a matter of scanning and grading auctions and putting them on the tracking list. A product value page will then automatically update and combine these. It is a fraction of the work that we have been doing for the Judges Guild valuations. This is just in its earliest stages, but you can see some of the initial results for Cthulhu
HERE.
We are currently trying to gauge user interest in this feature. So visit the
wiki work thread and take time to fill in the seven question survey.
Community Nature
The Acaeum is one of the strongest and most vibrant
RPG collecting forums on the net. And it is this fact that will make our Wiki successful. Individual sites are fun and can showcase a collection, but they come and go as a collector's interest waxes and wanes. I believe fact that all the members of The Acaeum can jump in on our Wiki and be a part of it will quickly build our site into one of the best online resources on the web.
Contributions
If you do not want to become an editor, you can still contribute by emailing information and pictures to one of us and we will put it up for you. But it is very easy to get started as an editor. Just click on a 'requested article' page or type a product into a new url, copy and paste the formatting from a similar product. Change the specifics to fit the new product and hit save. It is that simple!
Goal / Scope
The goal as I have mentioned before is twofold:
For D&D:
- to provide more detail on existing items such as Dungeon and Dragon magazines
- to develop product lists with basic information and printing information for later editions not covered at The Acaeum
For other
RPG systems:
- to eventually build up a comprehensive collectors guide covering everything
RPG!!!
