Hi All,

just returned from Game 08, Manchester (where there were a lot more rpgs than last year).

Dragonmeet is in London in a few weeks - anyone up for a meeting potentially?

Or just a pint and a bit of a yack?

Cheers,
Malc

What numbers do you need Brette?

(I might be at Dragonmeet btw - though no funds as Xmas takes precedence!
Last con I went to was between 1984 and 1986 when I went to 2 at the Royal Horticultural Hall  :D (Games Day or Games Fair?)(I bought Traveller book 4 and a MM2 if memory serves)) (Trying to pin point the dates in my fading memory - I know I was still at school - 1 year a 6th former from the BGS games club cadged the school minibus to drive up there, and the other my mate Robbie and I braved public transport - my first time on an underground train, how very daring we were 8O  :D )

You can never have too much of something you didn't need in the first place.

Having just googled 'games day' Royal Horticultural Hall I get the following hit on page 1 -

bugger, should have paid more attention!! (Though I'd have only given it away with all the rest of my stuff all those years ago)

Hi,

its on Saturday the 29th Nov.

Theres usually a varied selection of Traders (including our stall with 2nd hand rpgs).

Various games run (tho if you wish to play you had better book a spot very early as they run out fast).

Loads of Demos for new games.

I would describe it as a small, friendly convention with an emphasis on rpgs and boardgames - very few ccgs, if any.

Nowhere to sell I'm afraid - no Bring n Buy, and the Auction is purely for Charity.

last year they forgot about Licensing Hours and were serving beer at breakfast time  :D

I'll be coming along - mainly for some shopping and to meet some old friends for a beer or many.

Will House Atreides be able to take c/card payments on the day? or will I need to bring a big pile of cash (just in case you've got anything that catches my attention  :)  )

Hi,

yes indeed, I'll try to remember the CC machine!

However, cash might get more for your money  :D

Cheers,
