Howdy, i recently purchased a SW geos set 1, first printing (code F1002) and found smtg interesting:

first, reading from the acaeum page it seems that this product was not sold in shrink and it is not true (at least if it is a fake, it is well done! the shrink has the usual hole to let air go in)...

second, my copy seems to have cover + 4 pages since in the back there is not the usual type written back cover...

is this a new printing or simply an error while packaging the product?

From the Acaeums lists:
First (1976):  Lizard logo.  TSR Stock # on bottom left is "F1002".  This printing was included in early D&D Basic Sets, but was NOT shrinkwrapped (making the separately-sold, shrinkwrapped copies much rarer).

It appears that you have the rarer SW version that was sold sperately from the D&D Basic Box Set.

ok, perfect, but then there is the second issue still to be clarified: looking at the item i do see the usual front cover, whereas if i turn it on the back i dont see the usual "last page" (the one with the colored ink on the external side and a pale blue ink inside)... i simply see a cardstock with geos printed on it... i assume that the last page is then missing...
with this assumption, is it possible that the 1st printing had no "last page" and it consisted in cover + 4 cards of geos?
