Here's a weird one...

I'm looking through Dragon #128 (Dec 87) and in the Gamers' Guide section find an ad from Lou Zocchi with the following:

Brown cover Monster Manuals with identical information and page layout to current blue cover $15 edition... only $10.

Now what on earth does THAT mean? Did Lou have a box or three of misprints? What could these copies be?

I'll probably try giving him a call sometime this week about it, but was wondering if anyone else knew about them before I bothered him... there doesn't seem to be anything in the MM entry on the Acaeum...

Well, if anyone would have a box of brown (or purple, or pink, or polka-dot) Monster Manuals, it would be good ol' Lovable Lou. What a character!  :)

I roll my d100 in your honor, Lou!
