A good deal for Warriors of Mars?

Hi all,

I'm new here so I thought I'd introduce myself and pose a question. My main collecting interest is Citadel Miniatures but I'm also happy to acquire the rare and obscure of the RPG world.

I recently picked up a copy of TSR's Warriors of Mars for £100 (approx. US$200?). It's in good condition with a small number of notes in pen inside (e.g. name on inside cover, some character stats on one page). My question is, did I get this for a good price? I believe I did but with so little to go on I'd like your opinion.

I think the copies that have sold in this range have been in better condition - your copy sounds a bit rough. But for $200 US you still did well.

But to put it in perspective, 5 years ago, $200 would be about $100 too much for a copy in solid condition. Then the bubble hit, and there seems to be enough folks willing to keep the price up. I still firmly believe it won't stay up in the $400+ range but whether it gets below $200 is a toss up.

I think it will still be a while before it comes down so you should be safe. Are you selling your copy at Gencon?

I am envious to say the least.

Ida paid 200 bucks for that book in a heartbeat second.
And furthermore, I would have also paid FOUR TIMES S&H with no complaints and very little hesitation.

Yup, after you get it and read it and decide that the Martian atmosphere is not your thing, just let us know and we will fight to the death for it...

BTW, when I received WOM I also picked up a bunch of the Heritage figures to go with it. I have spares if anyone is interested PM me.
