Howdy all -

Just a quick note to let you know my wife went into labour last Saturday evening, and gave birth to a rather lovely baby girl at 01:30 Sunday morning. She weighed in at 6lb 10oz, mother and baby both doing stupendously, and her name is Thora Lois.

Thanks to all for the support and advice leading up to the big event. And of course for the bids on the auctions I was running to raise cash for the baby equipment we needed. I have to say I was pretty happy with the prices most of the items received, so overall a successful project.

I managed to get through about a quarter of the collection, so still plenty left - either more to sell a bit later, or a good base to build upon sometime in the future.

Regards

Mike

That's wonderful.  The days may seem long, but the years are short.  Congratulations.

Congrats Mike!

now, a suggestion: keep your remaining stuff on shelves higher than 1 meter, or move the books in a safe place asap... if you dont follow my suggestion, within the next months your collection rating will drop from a VF to a FAIR conditions...   :D

Congratulations and I suggest following Aia's advice: babies may be quite enthusiastic in their discover of the world, especially with books with so  many pretty drawings, black and white, just screaming to be coloured ;)

Congrats Mike! But remember that although polydice look cute in a baby's hand, it is a choking hazard except maybe a zochihedron.

I have no kids so that is the best advice I could think of.

Sensational news Mike (and Mrs Mike!).

Another Australian gamer in the ranks!

Looks like you and your wife rolled a natural twenty.

Howdy Mike,

Congratulations! Great being a father - plenty of time to be a kid again!
