There is nothing you can do. Feedback is optional. Sellers and buyers are not required to leave them, though eBay is happy if it is used. Maybe if they made it mandatory, but then, they'd have to drop that whole "sellers can't leave negatives for bad buyers."

Also, begging for feedback is umm... yeah, and some people would simply not do it based on that fact. I probably would not - you earn a feedback, you don't just get one because it's there, unless I don't like the transaction.

Guy's an ass, did the same to me and overcharged me $5.00 on shipping.  Neg coming may 1st.

guy, maybe i didnt expalined exactly my situation: i had a normal transaction and left a positive feedback (in both experiences i had)... the point is that i didnt get any feedback from the seller despite about 5/7 messages as a reminder of this...

in a nutshell, had no problems nor during neither after the deal...

Let's not mutate this thread into something it isnt.  We have enough threads about Ebay feedback as it is.

I think Serleran answered the question just fine.  Just because you had a good transaction and left positive feedback for the seller doesnt mean you are going to get any feedback in return.  It is not worth it to beg or bug the seller to leave you positive feedback in response.

I had a seller email me three days after I won an auction asking for positive feedback.  Since I hadnt even received the item yet I just ignored the email.  I got the item a couple of days later and yet another email asking if he had done something wrong or if there was a problem with the item because I hadn't left him positive feedback yet.  Quite annoying to say the least.

One feeback from one person isnt worth worrying about.  Dont buy from him again and just let it go.

Well to be fair, were not talking about what feedback means to a seller.  Were talking about the opposite.  Aia already left positive feeback for the seller, so if the seller cares one bit (which he most likely doesnt) he already knows that he did his job.  Sure it is unfair that aia didnt get positive feedback in return but there really isnt anything he can do about it.  And I am just saying from my point of view that if I was the seller and I received 5 or 6 emails from a buyer about why I havent left him feedback it would most likely annoy me.  And there are jerks out there that might see that as enough reason to give someone a neg....Coug has done it before.  Why not someone else?

He asked "what should I do?", so I basically replied with "let it go".  No sense in getting all bent out of shape about it.  And by that last statement I mean regarding the feedback.

Some people don't leave feedback.  You should just accept that and move on.  

As I think about it for a bit, you know where else people rely on literally receiving gold stars?  Kindergarten.
