Browsing the Lost Tamoachans appearing on Ebay recently, I noticed a discrepancy in their numbering, particulary with the way the number '7' was written but also the '2' as well.  Basically, if you look at the Acaeum's stock photo of Lost Tamoachan 277

and compare it to Lost Tamoachan 176 on Ebay

** expired/removed eBay auction **

the number '7' looks at least similar; however, the '7' in Lost Tamoachan 72 is obviously different as it is written at an an angle with a downward line at the top of the seven.

Comparing the number '2' as well between Lost Tamoachan 277 and Lost Tamoachan 72, it too is different - a loop is used at the bottom versus a straight line.

With only 300 copies, I would have expected that the same person would number all the copies; however, this is clearly not the case.  Perhaps, they split the task between two individuals (1 - 150) and (151 - 300). Does anyone have any insight as to who actually numbered the Lost Tamoachans?

Sorry in advance, if this question/observation has been answered or noted before.

Hello Mrs. Cleaver, Theodore.

Gee, Mrs. Cleaver ... That certainly is a lovely dress.

I was under the impression the numbers were written on the module at the time of sale at GenCon... you walked up to the table, paid for on, someone at the table wrote the number on it, bagged it, and handed it to you... so it's possible different people were taking the cash, numbering, bagging...

But don't take my word, it's only what I was told once
