I don't know if this is the right place for this suggestion, but I thought I'd ask.

As people might be aware, ebay now charges up to a nauseating 12% of the final price of an item in an ebay store.

One way of beating the fees is a store referral credit.  This means that if someone gets directly to your store from outside ebay, ebay will refund a portion of the final value fee.

My suggestion would be to setup a separate Ebay Stores Forum and each Acaeum seller would have their own thread linking to their ebay store.  Buyers can reach their store through the Acaeum link and if they do so, the store owner can rebate perhaps 3% of the cost of the items since they can pass on some of the ebay fee savings to the buyer.  All the buyer has to do is to mention that he or she came from Acaeum and the seller can rebate as soon as he or she checks that their account has the referral credit.

Frequent buyers can easily bookmark the forum and get there with one click.

I don't know how much work it takes to setup a new forum, but I think it would significantly help both buyers and sellers.  Win win for everyone.   :D

Or, you can just stop using eBay completely. Win win.

Those who can, don't. Those who should not, do.

Errr.....it's here

It's called rpgmarketplace.com.

http://rpgmarketplace.com/

You are free to link to your ebay store (or any other store on earth) from your "About Me" page...

No fees....for anything.

I give shipping discounts to all Acaeum members from the site....anyone else selling on The Marketplace can give any sort of discount to anyone you want. If you want to give discounts to $1000 an hour callgirls who live in New York, maybe Ms. Ashley Dupree will give you a call...I hear she has a jones for expensive apartments, high powered "boyfriends", travelling, and Judges Guild and other 1st edition obscurities. Worth a shot!

For that kind of money you would have to get out your "rares" to impress her. Perhaps show her a "woodie".  :P

You can't name it Emperor's Club. That name blows.

I wish they had had an IPO. I'd have definitely invested. In fact, I'd have blown my wad..........
So anyways, starting from today, I predict 9 woodies for sale this year. I am lowballing......
