One way of beating the fees is a store referral credit. This means that if someone gets directly to your store from outside ebay, ebay will refund a portion of the final value fee.My suggestion would be to setup a separate Ebay Stores Forum and each Acaeum seller would have their own thread linking to their ebay store. Buyers can reach their store through the Acaeum link and if they do so, the store owner can rebate perhaps 3% of the cost of the items since they can pass on some of the ebay fee savings to the buyer. All the buyer has to do is to mention that he or she came from Acaeum and the seller can rebate as soon as he or she checks that their account has the referral credit. Frequent buyers can easily bookmark the forum and get there with one click.I don't know how much work it takes to setup a new forum, but I think it would significantly help both buyers and sellers. Win win for everyone.
