Does anyone know what priority mail and international shipping rates will be starting May 12?

Ummmmm....

HOLY SHIT!!!!!

Flat rate envelopes up 40 cents....flat rate boxes up almost a buck (to $9.80!)...

The international buyers are going to get hammered....both Canada and overseas go up $1.50 for the flat rate envelope and $2 for the flat rate box.  Wow.  But hey, Ebay says offer "free shipping" and you'll get better stars..... 8O

FUCK my stars!  The buyers can do whatever they do, and why should I care...the percent I could make with good stars doesn't even come close to what I (or someone else) would lose with free shipping bullshit.

Sigh. Time to start jacking up the shipping prices on all my listings before the 12th.....so I don't take it in the shorts and LOSE money on shipping

Damn..does this only effect international postage? They are not raising the rates on domestic correct?

The cost of shipping from the US and Canada to Australia is the biggest deterrent to my collecting. Someone needs to figure out how to teleport goods. Beam them over Scottie!  :shaking2:

Damn!  8O  Time for me to go through and purchase some of the various store items I have on my watch list before the start of May.

Lets screw with ebay, a protest of the DSRs if you will. When I/you or anyone we can recruit, makes an ebay purchase, go ahead and leave positive feedback, but leave only 1s for the DSRs. Let ebay know what is going on. All of you sellers would have to be in on this scheme, leaving 1s for DSRs would hurt you guys of course. What do you think ebay would do? LOL.

I've done that. Left positive feedback but ones in stars. You have to earn a 5, and that means giving me everything for free.

I think my shipping rates will now be based on what it would cost the buyer to ship the item to me.  (That way if they need to return it, I'll know exactly what it costs, too.)   ;)
