I recently bought an auction on eBay. While going through the pages of a book I found a note titled "For Posterity" and signed by the author. I won't describe about the contents but you can draw an inference from the title.

I contacted the seller immediately. The auction was for items from his brother's collection who had passed away last year.

Most of the time collecting D&D is a hobby. But every now and then there are reminders that life is fragile.
