just to brighten the mood a little around these here parts, i thought i would post this :)

Hey guys, just wanted to wish everyone a very happy new year for 2008. i hope it all turns out the way everyone wants and brings them everything they wish for. 2007 had its ups and downs for me, but also left me with some unforgettable memories. March 2007, saw me finish the Marathon Des Sables, a feat i thought beyond me. not only did it give me that, it also made me some amazing friends and gave me something that can never be taken away. August 2007, i finally got to go to Gencon in Indianapolis USA, the worlds biggest gaming convention. i also got to meet long-standing collecting friends and it gave me a whole new appreciation of things. November, saw me going to Australia. It was a fabulous holiday, which allowed me to spend some quality time with some great people, friends one and all - another experience that i won't ever forget - something which i will repeat the first chance i get and maybe spend longer doing other things i didnt get the chance to. i hope 2008 will bring equally good achievements as well as things of a personal nature - i can only keep hoping!!!!! all the best everyone!

Happy New Year!

It's also been a good year for me and my family.  No major financial, physical or mental disasters.  My kids are making good grades in school.  My extended family is well.  My work is highly satisfying and interesting. I took my family on a 12 day, 2000 mile, six state, 1800 pictures vacation to the wild west this summer, and it was a blast!   It was a life goal of mine to take that trip.

I am also thankful for all of you at The Acaeum.  I became much more active in the forums and chats this year, and it's been great fun.  Until my participation with this crew, I didn't really have anyone to share my love for collecting rpg fantasy stuff.  Thank you!  Thank you!

2007 was an excellent year, but I am looking forward to 2008! :D
