I am curious if any of you know how a seller's feedback can show two different negative totals. What I mean is that the summary, the one that appears on the upper left poriton of the screen, will say how many overall (or so I thought) negatives a person has received but when you look at their activity over the last 12 months the number of negatives received is actually more (in the example I am using it is more than double the number the listed in their summary on the left) than the supposed total number of negatives received since they have been selling on eBay. I know that your feedback score can only be affected in a positive way one time from the same member but I thought that ALL negative feedback received registered as negative in the total. So, how can the total number of negatives received be so much lower than the number received over the just the last 12 months. Seems kind of perplexing. Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to respond.

Yes but wouldn't that mean someone who had already left negative feedback would be leaving negative feedback on another purchase? It just doesn't make sense to me that someone who considered there first transaction to be negative would buy from the same person again.
