Looks like a licensed pdf of the original Metamorphosis Alpha became available for purchase at RPGNow or DriveThruRPG on 10/1/07:

This electronic edition includes grammar and spelling corrections, additional errata, and a short adventure.


Apparently a Print-On-Demand version will eventually be available from lulu.com.

Comparing the print MA to the Table of Contents in PDF preview, it looks like 4 pages have been added:

pg 33-34: Official Errata Sheet
pg 35: The Awakening (this must be the "short adventure")
pg 36: Hexagonal Mapping Paper
