This is the first time this has really happened to me through the entirety of my eBay use, and I was curious if anyone else is being annoyed by the problem: eBay mail goes into my eBay inbox on the site, but it seems to be sporadic on what reaches my regular mail account, at the moment.

In my regular mail, I received a total of 1 of 1 "you didn't win the item" notice,  1 out of 4 "you won the item" notices, no bid notices,  and 0 of 1 invoices. And, come to think of it, I haven't received any of the messages I check "send a copy to my email address" for, either.  8O

In my eBay inbox in My eBay, which I checked out of suspicion, there were a few of the missing pieces of mail...including a 2nd chance offer I had just missed due to not knowing about it and a response to a question I had asked a seller a month ago (I thought they had just never responded)!

Has this happened to anyone else? I have no filters on the email address I use, and I haven't changed or moved email addresses.

Waterdeep? Never heard of it.

While I do eventually get my mail from eBay (as far as I know), I've found that receiving my messages can be delayed by hours.

I'll get an "Item not won" email hours before I get an outbid notice.  My saved searches send me out emails up to 12 hours after they are supposed to run.  And so on.

(Time to go check my message box and see if I just haven't gotten some responses to questions that I thought were just ignored.)

Particularly annoying if you're waiting to receive an invoice, & ebay doesn't let you know it's ready for many days, if ever. Yeah, I have that problem all the time. You can't depend on ebay to send you messages in a timely manner or at all, you've got to keep checking the messages section of 'MyEbay.'

I don't have eBay send me messages. I went in and changed the settings. I check eBay every day, about every 6 hours, anyway, so them sending me an email is rather useless.

I, too, have been having strange happenings with my eBay email going to my Yahoo account (messages from eBay arriving late or out-of-sequence). Just started happening this past week or so.....

A Wizard is never late, Frodo Baggins, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to.

It turns out my inlaws are coming in Wed for the holidays...and I'm going to be alone with them all day as my wife works.... :(  Can I use Ebay mail as an excuse for locking myself in the bathroom for several hours instead of dealing with them???? :?:

You can try, but only if you agree not to blame any of us for any inopportune results. :D
