Ok, heads up everyone!  I recommend you block the Ebay user known as legionarre

 He bought about $30 worth of stuff from me, complained that $13 and some change was too much for shipping and thereby got me to not track the item in an attempt to reduce his shipping cost.

 The next time I hear from him he's asking for  a refund straight up, claiming the box never arrived.  He's also a new account, opened in August of 2007.  He's got one negative against him already but he keeps his feedback private so you can't read it.  I suspect there would be bad things there, even positive feedback can have additional statements added when things go bad after the fact...

 Bad person to deal with!  He sure ripped me off!

BTW, Cougar contacted me about getting permission to bid on one of the three auctions this new rip-off artist actually won.  From the wording and arrogant nature of this new guy's contacts, I wouldn't be surprised if it's Coug.  If it's not, it's someone cut from the same mold.

Personally, I wish there was a way to block bidders with private feedback from bidding.  I know you can block based on negatives, but I'd like to be able to block based on private feedback.

Anyone know if it is in fact possible?

(Edit: looking at legionarre's past purchases, I'm going to say that I don't think he's the cat since they consist largely of no lots and plenty of MTG cards.)

Ok, he lists his shipping address as  being to "On The Same Page Inc." but gives you a PO Box to ship to.  It's in Stoneboro, PA 16153.  There is a phone number I was able to come up with but guess what, it is to the post office where his PO box is!

 Total fraud here!

Georgiana Stralik   is the name associated with the PAYPAL account.  I've filed complaints with both PAYPAL and Ebay about this person's not having valid contact information...

Ahh, it all makes sense now. I had a feeling when you first posted this and I did some checking, but now your further clarification about the address makes it all come together.  That bidder is none other that the same problem buyer that I dealt with now formerly using the name using the monkies sir_lance_u_alot_sales and now chanmged it recently to to_the_victor_go_the_spoils.  The good thing is that they have used the  legionarre name to shill(once again :x) their to_the_victor_go_the_spoils ID:

http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?V ... 200&sort=3

This of course is good news all around as I going to report them for shilling.  :D   Another name connected to this person is a seperate user ID called mordor_muppet

http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.d ... 0158825173

Now everyone get off their ass and report this moron for shilling and get them booted off for good.

Oh and last thing, I have a very strong suspicion that our very own user Africa_Corps:

profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=895

Is actually this individual. The reason why I believe so, is if you look at Africa_Corps first 2 posts here in the introducing yourself thread, they removed them for seemingly no reason back on June 8.   This of course was exactly 2 days after I received the neg from them in my spat.  I mean why edit your posts almost a full year after you made them to simply say "great, great"?  :roll:  Coincidence? I think not ;)

Here is the email that I just sent to Ebay concerning the shilling, please feel free to cut and paste it(just makes sure that if you do so, you clean up my links and what not before you send it because sometimes they all get screwed up in pasting):

Buying and Finding  >  Problems with sellers  >  Seller is bidding on his/her own items with another User ID

Item number(s):

** expired/removed eBay auction **

** expired/removed eBay auction **

** expired/removed eBay auction **

** expired/removed eBay auction **

Message: I know for a fact that the Ebay user to_the_victor_go_the_spoils:

http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.d ... 0157365036

Is using at least 2 other user ID's to shill their auctions.  These 2 other users ID's are mordor_mupppet:

http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.d ... 0158825173

And also legionarre:

http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.d ... llFeedback

All three are from or have been located in Pennsylvania at one point with to_the_victor_go_the_spoils now currently being listed in Florida, however less than 3 months ago she was also listed in Pennsylvania.  Additionally, I know for a fact that both the to_the_victor_go_the_spoils and the legionarre ID's actually are listed under the exact same real person's name.  On top of that this individual also used a fourth ID not to long ago that has since been suspended called this_is_mine_so_piss_off! that was later switched to member78245 who was also located in PA:

http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.d ... llFeedback

Please take care of all of these ID's ASAP as this individual is causing lots of people problems with these vioations.  Thanks.

Here is where you can go on Ebay to report them.  Just click on the email us near the bottom of the page:

Report this jerk off

I'm digging into Ebay and Paypal actions but I'm going to look into legal action against this person also.  Several of my friends are lawyers and two in particular love this kind of work ~ though there may be not much money we can recover unless this person owns a house or something.  Still, we can press criminal charges.  Fraud in interstate commerce is a Felony.  I'm interested in pressing criminal charges AND in filing a class action lawsuit for everyone this person has had transactions with.  It should go something like this...

#1  Court order for Ebay and Paypal to release all records connected to this person IN ANY WAY.  Also have post office where PO box is release information to the courts so we can ID this person better.

#2  Look at the way this person does business... is fraud evident?  Does the corporation this person claims affiliation with exist?  Is shill bidding evident?

#3  File class action lawsuit on behalf of anyone and everyone who may have been defrauded by this person in any way.

#4  Seek recovery of damages PLUS punitive action.

#5  Seek criminal charges so this person does jail time.

I'm making the call tomorrow.  I don't have a lawyer yet but I will very soon!

Oh and last point on this for now(5 posts in a row now  8O ), for those of you who have been around here for awhile, I also strongly suspect that this person is/was in some way related to the idioy who went after several sellers a couple years ago using the moniker vecnapoop1, etc.  See here for further details (as well as lots more infromation about to_the_victor_go_the_spoils):

It shouldn't come as a surprise, but a search of Pennsylvania's registered corporations doesn't turn up "On the Same Page, Inc".

As of the last time I updated my preferences, no. But I like the idea.

Currently, it's possible to block for:

*Feedback below a certain level;
*Countries you won't ship to;
*A certain number of unpaid-item warnings in a certain number of days.

And that's it. Although many sellers do add a line about "not selling to buyers with private feedback" to their listings ... still, it would be nice if it could be more official.

Private feedback ... what a farce. I'm still waiting to hear one reasonable explanation of why it should even be allowed.

Ebay allows what it allows because they think they make more money.  I don't buy their logic because fraud does more to hurt than any financial gain they might receive from allowing people with poor feedback to continue buying and selling.  When people get ripped, they often leave Ebay altogether.  I wish they would add a feature where private feedback bidders are not allowed if sellers want that added.

They should make a feature where if 100 people have you on their blocked list, your Ebay account gets shut down. :twisted:

Would be good in theory however you'd still get the real twits with an ax to grind who'd try to go out and create a hundred accounts just to get someone they don't like cancelled.

Actually would creating that many accounts even be feasible? 8O
