That 3rd/4th print...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... :IT&ih=015

$811 was a wee bit higher than I thought it would go (and of course higher than my bid  :D ).

It did come with some supplements, but no ref. sheets.  I would have thought maybe $650-75 tops??

Given the condition I was surprised it topped $550.

What's the deal with the majority of bidders being "letter" ***** "letter"? I avoid those auctions because it looks shill-worthy.

If I recall correctly, it's one of eBay's ways of attempting to protect the bidders on high-ticket items from scammers who like to contact people claiming to have a copy of that item that they're willing to sell them.

ebay keeps going back-and-forth on the debate between protecting identities and having a sense of transparency. It's a modification of their recent (and unpopular) stance of hiding a bidder's identity completely when bidding topped $200.

I totally know what I'm changing my eBay name to...
