Bought the following for just £5.50
Dungeons and Dragons Basic Rules Set 1

Also includes:

   * Module B1 - In Search of the Unknown
   * Module RS1 - Red Sonja Unconquered
   * Module AC3 - The Kidnapping of Princess Arelina
   * Module AC3 - The Revenge of Rusak

The thing is, I know that the Red Sonja is comparatively rare, but I have yet to see it on its own on Ebay. Is this a good win or what?

i have seen RS1 sold quite a few times. if you do a search, one sold last week, which i was bidding on. don't think it went for a lot though from what i recall.

but getting all them for £5.50 is an excellent purchase!

The ACs will sell for at least $10 each if they are complete and VG+. The RS goes for $20+ based on condition. I have seen them go for $50 - has that I7 mystique. Nobody bought the damn thing.

Yeah, I think you did more than OK.

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

Well I got the parcel yesterday after work and eagerly opened it...
The first glance made me think that the Red Sonja was in "VGC" as Cougar would say lol, BUT...in order to "keep" it in a fine condition, some tube had sellotaped the spine of the cover, inside and outside! He also did this with the
In Search module!
The boxed set itself is in fine condition, no problems there.
Personally speaking, I would never cellotape any of my modules, careful handling should obviate the need for that and besides, the cellotape will decay, go brown and leave unsightly marks on the material below, which is exactly what's happened here.
Ah well, I will look for another and hopefully find a better condition Red Sonja in future...

Yes I have suffered at CRs hands. On a very expensive item, ' a few pencil marks' turned out to be firm pencil writing throughout the module!!!!

I once got a RS1 for a good price from a different Seller. It is VF condition, but alas - one page in the middle of the module had a 3cm tear in it!

It was not Cougar who sold it to me, I merely used the chap's name as an example in my previous post. Sorry for the confusion!
