I just read something over at Dragonsfoot and I figured that I would share it here. Please forgive me for being utterly dense if this was already common knowledge. :oops:

Harry Nuckols ----the guy who wrote B9-Castle Caldwell and Beyond and supposedly did all the artwork on the 1 & 3 subject school notebooks as well as the D&D portfolios is actually not a real TSR artist at all. It is simply a made up name most likely by Clyde Caldwell. For reference, here is online article pertaining to this and also the thread from over at Dragonsfoot:

I think it is Caldwell in the B9. When I have listed B9s in the past, I include that in my trivia.

I thought I read it or someone told me that a long time ago.

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

I asked some people about this once (I thought it was on this forum, but I can't find the post now), and the response was that he is indeed a real person.

Hairy Knuckles. I thought that was a given myself. But I'm always on the lookout for name twisters (where do you think I got CougarRetard?).
Now the Ballsinger thing is downright wrong. You really are obligated to change your name in that case. Or give old Dad a right cross to the chops for coupling it with Richard.
Hey, this is off topic but it doesn't deserve a thread. Has anyone seen Ralf on or posting lately? I miss the guy.
