I honestly don't know. I have very little reason to be so sarcastic and cynical, life is not all that bad right now. I think it stems from my urge to break up the status quo.

For example:

Next week I play my yearly prank on my wife. She is absolutely terrified of the movie Halloween, the Shatner mask almost makes her cry. So, since I have suffered through several of her pranks this year without retaliation, I bought a Shatner mask and overalls. I'll dress up in them, and at about 4 AM, while she is sleeping, I'll be standing in the doorway with the hall light on (I bought a 20 watt bulb so the light will be low). I'll toss a sock on her to wake her up.

I fully expect that I will have to leave the house for a few days, but it is well worth it.

My wife hates when I do that, if you know what I mean...

She has a strong kick, that is for sure.

I occasionally do little things like tape the handle on the spray nozzle in the sink down, so she gets soaked when she turns on the water, but that kind of thing is just to make her pay attention to detail. The Halloween prank could get me in a LOT of trouble, but I have to do it.
