I just thought I'd do a quick poll and find out whether people thought ST1 should be available as a download or not.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

Could you give us the other pages as well? I'm curious to see the pre-pub map before the artist ruined it.

Yes, I believe it should be made available for download (hi-res), but don't expect me to pay more than for any other PDF.

i voted yes. i dont think it will make a jot of difference to the demand of the item anyway. a true collector will always want to get his/her hands on it, regardless, due to its rarity.

I popped over there on Dragonsfoot just to check it out.

It seems they are far more interested in it going pdf then we are.

When it comes to the rare items I see it as the same as making prints available of famous pieces of art. The casual fan will be happy with a copy and the collector is still going to want the original.

In some cases the awareness factor created by available copies might even create more demand in the collectors market. Out of sight out of mind.

I voted "No, but it's up to Wizards" ... I mainly don't like PDF's because it just makes it easier for the bundle up on a CD and sell it on ebay illegally crowd. I understand "legal" PDF's, and would actually personally probably like a high quality PDF of that module, but you KNOW that 1 month later 10 idiots will have it on ebay on one of their "miracle discs" making money off a copy of product they have no right to make money off of.
