Looks cool... Are these actually on newsprint? It is hard to tell how rare these are. Does anyone else have one?

Yo Adam, the item is like a newspaper and in the same format. Pretty cool. As to their rarity, I wouldn't say they are very rare, they are just uncommon and obscure. Something that doesn't show up too often.

Yes, I do have a copy of TSR WORLDS Vol.2, No.2 Fall 1988. I sent Scott a scan a while back, hopefully when he updates the site he will ad it. I recieved my copy from Walden Books back when they were originally given out.

Hey Burnie, from your recollection was their a lot of the Tsr Worlds at Waldenbooks when they were handing them out or only a few? Did you have to buy a certain amount of D&D products before they handed them out to you??

As I recall I just bought a few things(pobably modules) and the guy behind the counter gave the newsletter to me. I never saw a stack of them so who knows. I was a member of the Otherworlds book club(Walden Books), this could be the reason he gave it to me.

I have a copy of both issues here in Italy. They are printed on newsprint paper. Of course, I bought them from EBay...

What issues do you have Sotter? Any beyond Vol 2 Issue 2? I am wondering how long the Tsr Worlds ran for? 2 years or ?

At the best of my knowledge, just two issues. The first one has a B. Dalton boostore chain logo.

Hey, just letting everyone know that if you want a copy of TST WORLDS NEWSLETTER vol.1 no.1(June/December 1987) let me know. I have just received several copies in mint condition! If you are interested please email me at dhibbs@prodigy.net. First come first served(and only one per collector please)! I only have seven of these to get rid of so respond ASAP. I am willing to trade also, just let me know what items you are willing to trade and if I am interested I will contact you. I am not sure of the value but it should be similiar to the TSR SPOTLIGHT($30.00 in mint). Does $20.00 each sound like a fair deal? Thanks, Burntwire

Was going through one of two of my old D&D chest of stuff and found that I have 3 of these that I got back in '87 and '88. If I remember right, it was up front near the check-out and only a few were ever available.

I have:
Issue 1 - June-December 1987
Volume 2, No. 1 - January-June 1988
Volume 2, No. 2 - Fall 1988

Anyone know what these are worth these days?

The Ebay seller Hamilcar seems to have a stack of these (or at least the volume 2 ones) so they show up with some regularity. You can pick them up for anywhere from $5-$25 each.
