I have these except my copies have the names reversed (the Monsters and More Monsters part).

Is this common? These are the only other sets of Monsters and More Monsters Rub Downs I have seen (aside from the one that had been platered over my first copy of the orignal cover MM1).  Just another interesting and mostly useless note from yours truly.

I already know that the following "Rub Downs" were produced,

Series I

1500-1 - AD&D Rub Down Transfers - Dragons, Giants, Demihumans

1500-2 - AD&D Rub Down Transfers - Monsters

1500-3 - AD&D Rub Down Transfers - More Monsters

1500-4 - AD&D Rub Down Transfers - Humanoids and Undead

Series II

1600-1 - AD&D Rub Down Transfers - From the Monster Manual

1600-2 - AD&D Rub Down Transfers - Fiend Folio Characters

1600-3 - AD&D Rub Down Transfers - More Fiend Folio Characters

1600-4 - AD&D Rub Down Transfers - Player Characters


Considering I already have series one, can anyone point me in the direction of images/scans of series two?  I have already tried to google them, but generally get links back here (go fig).

Just a bump to let you know that I didn't forget, just being worked to death (inside and in the yard) by my wife, when I'd much rather be here, surfing and chatting.

Thats ok, I understand.  I have also been busy running my wife around to a number of doctor visits as of late (severely curtailing my online time, as well as collecting addiction).

Finally got them scanned and hosted.

Here's the link

Scanned all 8 plus the reverse of the backer card (400 dpi - 1.27mb each).
Viewable as thumbnail, full-sized, and enlarged (good detail).

As you can see from the price sticker, they are not very collectible (IMHO).
Purchased sometime from 1982-1986, just not sure when.

Thank you very much for the scans, even those these are probably not very collectable, they are definitely interesting.  And considering that they are on my list of things to collect, having scans as a reference is nice.

One thing I'll say that is cool about the rub-downs is that they are color portrayals of the 1st Edition Monster Manual and Fiend Folio monsters.  In the MM and FF, the illustrations are all black and white.  The rub-downs definitively depict pretty much the same artwork from the hardbacks but with color.  

And, yes, I have four extra rub-downs from my collection up for auction now...  :wink:
